Candlemas, or Imbolc, is the Celtic Pagan festival celebrating the visible return of light after the winter solstice. (Also where Groundhog Day comes from.) I am so grateful for this day every year, I cannot tell you. Just a few more to go now.
I finally did get a job. I'm going to be working at the bookstore here in town three days a week, and I've got a follow up interview tomorrow morning at the high-class hotel nearby for the front desk job. High hopes for doing either that or substitute teaching two days a week, and then-- ah, the luxury of working full-time, having some structure to my days, and eating without debt-guilt. Training at the bookstore starts tomorrow. I'm pretty excited.
